Function: Short catch overshot is designed for conditions when the fish is too short to be engaged
with a standard overshot. When engaging fish and can’t bail out, it can exit fish, to return to
the ground

operational process
1、Chooses the right tool size, Push the grapple with hand to check the flexibility before going
into the well
2、Lay down the tool at 1-2 metres to the top of fish. Maintaining the right-hand rotation
slowly (right hand bailer) and Getting down the tool, When the weight indicator fallback ,
stop rotating and getting down. Raises slowly, if the hang weight more than the original
weight of fishing string, Showing that has already catch the fish, we can continue to raise.
Stop raising when the hang weight more than the maximum loading of the tool, then roll off fish,
the method is as follows:
Bump down the full weight of fishing string. Rotate to the right while picking up slowly. The
left hand wicker threads on the inner surface of the grapple will allow the grapple to unscrew
from the fish.. If meets the seizing is very fierce, May coordinate the jarring tool to use together.
Attention:
(1)Before fishing, should make definite the situation of the fish. as to irregularly top of fish like
delaminate、the major axis surpasses fishing size 1.2 times, need dressing the top of fish.
(2)When pipe string was bridged up, putting on the pump and starting circulation after seizing
fish, flushing the top of fish.
